Naughty New Yorker still short of $1 million

I was a little surprised to see Naughty New Yorker on the lead yesterday. He never wins when he is on the lead. The last time he took charge was in June of 2007 and he lost that race by 17 lengths. I think he should have been kept near the back. The distance of a 1-1/4 miles probably didn't help his chances that much either, since he only ran twice in 44 races at this distance. It was really not a great race for him at all. I think next time he will be back in a race more suited to him and hopefully finally hit the $1 million mark in earnings.
