Big Brown wins

This was an impressive win for Big Brown today at Monmouth Park in the Haskell. Big Brown took the lead for a brief time then was eased back behind Coal Play. Coal Play put up a very good fight in the stretch, but Big Brown was able to overtake him. What was impressive was how Big Brown responded in the stretch. He really looked like he was out to win and tried hard; responding to the whip. He had quite a bit of ground to cover being about 2 lengths behind Coal Play. It looks like Big Brown is back as a very tough horse.
